This Constant Daily Practice is EFFECTIVE!
My father-in-love, Joe Grimaud, was known by many for his “Law of Certainty” that he carefully crafted and lived by. It served him & others well in his business and in all areas of life, as it still proves to be true. Today, his words of inspiration have come to my mind. I believe I am to pass them on to you.

My aim & desire each month is to share Good News that will encourage your heart, bring peace to your anxious mind, and draw you closer to Christ. As we draw close to Him through prayer and time in the Word, He draws close to us.
I have spent this month in my Bible, dwelling in the book of Luke. The Lord continues to show me fresh revelation and reminders that feel almost as new, though they have been there all along. That’s the beauty of the Living Word. It is fresh to our hearts – right where we are. God knows what we need and how to speak life into our lives. The Holy Spirit takes the Word of God and leads us into all truth as He teaches, comforts, warns and guides us. What a gift!
Today, as I read the story of the persistent widow, in Luke 18:1-8, my eye was drawn to inspiring words by Dr. Luke. I believe I am to pass them on to you.
“One day Jesus told his disciples a story to illustrate THEIR NEED for CONSTANT PRAYER and to show them that THEY MUST NEVER GIVE UP!”
You might like to read the passage for yourself here. It’s a powerful illustration Jesus used to demonstrate and remind us ALL to be diligent and intentional in our efforts – to consistently apply our faith – bringing our requests to Him (directing our prayers to our heavenly Father) – pleading our case over a long period of time (day and night) and by never giving up! As we speak the Word of God and put action to our words, the results will be certain & effective.
God brings peace, hope, healing & comfort to our souls thru His Word & His Spirit. There is much going on in the world at all times that could easily cause us to think & feel differently. We walk through valleys of sorrow, grief, fear and troubles that can leave us feeling like giving up and abandoning the things we once held true. But friend, speaking from experience, over a long period of time, I testify that applying what Jesus said, and remaining in a flow of prayer with Him, His Spirit helps us in our times of need & helps us to never give up!
Jesus knew our greatest need was of HIM. We truly do need to be in constant prayerful communication with Him. It’s in this intimate space that He satisfies our deepest longings, sustains and nourishes our souls and strengthens our weary hearts. Greg’s precious dad, Joe, was a righteous man, a man of prayer and a man of the Word. I have a feeling he may have been in prayer & reading Luke 18 when he penned the “Law of Certainty.” Of that, I am not certain, but I am most certain we will see Him again and spend eternity together. Joe diligently & daily prayed for his family, friends, nation & others he met. He never gave up praying & neither will I. My prayer and hope is that you too will begin or continue in your journey with Jesus through constant prayer. Not sure where to begin?
