You’ll never believe this, but of all days… today, I opened up my Bible and some teaching notes I’d tucked inside fell out. Then my eyes landed on the most beautiful love note written on a blank page at the end of Proverbs 31. My man had penned precious words to me long ago, speaking of the woman in the chapter. It touched my heart on this Valentine’s Day, so I went to read the scripture again. THEN I saw some words written between the lines I had never paid attention to. It had to do with the Proverbs 31 Husband. It’s been there all along. So… I recorded a video for you. Go take a listen to what I found. I think you are going to like it. Married or not, there’s something for everyone. And ultimately, God left us ALL the best love note there.
Watch the video to see what I mean.
Listen! What do you hear God speaking to you?
GOOD NEWS from the Word of God:
“If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” (Romans 12:18 NIV)
I love that verse above. We are given a directive to live at peace with others to the extent it depends on us. All circumstances do not depend on me and sometimes it is not possible to achieve a peaceful situation on my own. However, this verse directly speaks to me and tells me to do what I can to live at peace with everyone.
We know that peace is a fruit that is produced in the lives of those who are surrendered to Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the one who produces peace in our hearts and releases it through us to those around us. Aren’t you glad we don’t have to produce it? Peace can’t be manufactured and it’s better than what the world thinks it is. That’s good news!
So, in light of this reality, I’ll personally apply this truth, since I know that with God, ALL THINGS are possible, that He asks of me. It does depend upon me to trust Him, to ask Him to work through me and to help me respond with love, kindness and gentleness. I can be at peace that God is working and desires for me to take Him at His Word. When I believe Him and depend upon Him, He can take an impossible situation and bring good from it. He turns what was meant for evil, into good. He takes my grief and creates good for me. He is my peace and your peace and He came for everyone. So, it is possible to depend upon Him to produce peace in me and help me to release it to everyone I can, as much as possible.
Do you believe it’s possible to live at peace with everyone? Receive His peace, depend upon Him and trust that with God all things are possible and rest in that good word. That’s the part that depends upon me and you! Believing this Good News once again produces more peace! What a relief! He is our peace!
As always…If you have a specific prayer request you’d like me to pray for you, I’d be honored to come alongside you this way. Just simply contact me.
